Thanksgiving 2023

By Bobbi Dupertuis, Mariposa County Prayer Leader
I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good, His mercies are everlasting. And His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5
God, we thank you. “Thanksgiving is your will. “Thanksgiving provides special access to God and unlocks His supernatural miracle power. God, we thank you for your infallible character. Thanksgiving reminds us to have a greater, deeper, appreciation for each other and these moments that bring unexpected joy.
Lord, we request renewal and rediscovery in our spirit to embrace the future. We bring with us the wisdom of our past and continue to fill us with praise and worship. Let us show the world the music of a life well lived and well loved.
Today I am humbled and honored to be able to teach God’s word, truth, and love. Help me to love well. Help me to continue to grow in understanding and application of God’s word. Help me to be a valuable member of our community. Help me to continue to encourage and build one another up.
The power of a single seed. God I am thankful that you have planted a seed in me and it fell on fertile ground. In your perfect timing the seed grew. My dear Lord, today I am seeing some manifestation in a ministry of “little things” I want to be a good steward of the little things, so you will eventually be able to trust me with more. Please Lord, in all I do, let it bring you all the glory! Less of me and more of you. May the eyes of my heart always be enlightened to notice the open doors of many “little things “you have placed upon my path. Lord, if it be your perfect will use those “little things” to become great things in the life of others. We pause in awe of you, and all you do. We offer prayer for one another. We offer up to you our community prayer bowl. We place the request in the hands of Jesus, to intercede to the Father, on our behalf. Father, we love you. Father, you love and cherish your children whom you know by their name. Let our hearts continue to be fertile ground.
Everything we need your hand has provided. Great is your faithfulness. Your mercy and grace are new every morning. Give us your peace and strength, to keep believing. Give us patience in our waiting. Let us move forward with total surrender and dependence on the one God alone., with nothing above or before you. God you are the one who tills our soil, brings the living water of refreshment, the nourishing factors, the sun, the moon and stars, the life-giving light, that guides and directs our path. You are the great,” I am” and you have the last word, and it will be good. Thank you for your steadfast love, and equipping us to live an abundant life, here and with you for all eternity. Be gentle, loving, and supportive, one to another. Reconcile, and purify, all that is within us. May we always keep our eyes fixed on you. Bring healing to all the areas where we have been wounded. May we see with new perspective, the illumination of consciousness full of hope, and faith, till we see the ripened fruit.
May the just, have justice. Where two or three are gathered, you will be there, as we are better together. Be with us in our times of suffering. Let us always remember the cross. Be set free from your former bondage, by the blood that was shed for you. Let us never forget our first love of you. Let that be our starting point every day. Keep us still Lord and let us be content in our spirit. We thank you. We love you, Lord. We know your timing is perfect. We remember Lord. We are in awe of you. We will worship and give you the glory always. May we never lose our sense of wonder. We are continually amazed by your selflessness and your grace.
Jesus, you are our King. Jesus, you are our Lord. We give thanks today and always in our Lord and Savior, In your precious name Amen.
You love us with a perfect love. Let us be the light in a dark world.
As we move into 2024, the word you gave me this year is “Embolden”, underlined, like the heading or title, because you gave to us first. Now I want more courage, to be more motivated, to be braver, to strengthen and vitalized. To be instilled and infused with boldness, courage, and resolution. To be a peacemaker. Armed with praise and worship. I am fully armed, fully equipped, fully loved and valued.
“This is the way it is going to be, with no turning back, I am your follower. No turning back. Filled with courage and strength of your purpose, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. People will be drawn to you, emboldened, to draw near with a friendly smile, not being afraid to introduce new policies, new radical policies, walking through open doors. Lord you are our rock, our horn of salvation (strong and true), Our deliverer, our shield. You promise to make us strong. We walk on the side of victory, and we will not be afraid. With you in us we are unstoppable, shaken, stirred, and emboldened.
Acts 4:31.
Our sacrificial lamb that was offered up for our sins and forgiveness. We blow the mighty ram’s horn, the shofar, as the symbol of the ram that was offered by Abraham, instead of his son Isaac. We shout victory, victory, today and always. May your royal saving power be the mission of our purpose and service to you. Make me an instrument of your love.
