Covering California's 58 Counties in Prayer

June 1, 2022 Biblical Prophetic Insight 0

We are told that we “are in this world, but not of this world”. In the season we are in, there is much going on around us. When His disciples went to Jesus privately and asked Him “What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus then warned them about deception within the Church.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man ‘deceives’ you.5 For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and shall ‘deceive’ many.

The remaining text tells us the truth so that we can be prepared for what is ahead. Jesus marked these prophets as deceivers and workers of iniquity:

11 Many false prophets shall rise and shall ‘deceive’ many.12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.13 But those who endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.14 And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.24 For there shall arise false messiahs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, even the very elect should be deceived.

We are to live in this world as citizens of another world. As the citizens of that world live, so must we live in His Kingdom world so as not to be deceived. We are to be God’s People of Truth, Love, and Righteousness.

Philippians 4:8 KJV 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We are to Put on the Mind of Christ!

Philippians 2:5 begins with a simple word, but the weight of this word birthed the creation of God by His decree. The word is: “Let…”5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

Among all that is about us, we are not of this world, neither are we citizens of this world. God’s gift to us is freedom from the devil’s grasp of suppression, control, deception, and manipulation that he seeks to impose by force. And the present strategy of the world is to take what belongs to another and make it their own. Of that kingdom we are no longer citizens. We no longer think the same. We think as our Creator thinks.

We partake of what He partakes of. As sons and daughters, we look like Him, talk like Him, and think like Him because He is spirit, and we are born of His Spirit. HALLELU-YAH!
