AS A RESULT OF ROE V WADE SUPREME COURT decision on January 22nd 1973, all state laws that had previously made abortion illegal were struck down. The companion case to Roe v Wade called Doe v Bolton made abortion on demand legal through all nine months of pregnancy and opened up the definition of a woman’s ‘health.’
WHERE WAS THE CHURCH when these cases were moving through the Courts? WHERE WAS THE OUTCRY FROM GOD’S PEOPLE on that dark day in January 1973?
The apathy and the silence were deafening…and for decades most of the Church has remained silent. But now eyes are being opened to the dire evil of murdering helpless little babies in the womb!With undercover expose’ videos, ultra-sounds, the detection of a baby’s heartbeat at 21 days, women courageously sharing with the public how their abortion hurt them, and with old and young alike praying, contacting their Legislators, and boldly taking action to help end abortion, there is HOPE in the near future that abortion after 15 weeks (and prayerfully one day soon any abortions!) will be illegal.
How glorious that one day babies may be able to live out their God-given destiny without the threat of being killed through abortion…We fervently pray for that!
TODAY TOO MANY IN THE CHURCH are still lukewarm, passive, seemingly uncaring whether a living baby’s limbs get ripped apart and sold for profit, or their skulls are crushed and scissors slice through their spinal cord, or poison is shot into their beating tiny heart, or they are painfully burned to death with saline…most do not want to hear about that…but it happens!
IT IS TME for the Church to get on our faces and repent for the great sin that has fallen upon our land, upon our hands! Proverbs 6:16-19 clearly states ‘”here are six things the Lord hates, yes seven are anabomination to Him.” One of those is “the shedding of innocent blood.” What could be more innocent than a baby in the womb?!
December 1st is National and International Day of Prayer. We invite you to not only watch the LIVE events at our nation’s Supreme Court but to join us in fasting, repentance, weeping, prayer, crying out for the baby’s lives, and for the parents of the child within the womb to turn their hearts toward JESUS and toward their baby…
